The old saying that works without play makes Tom dull by could be coming back to media for further evaluations. Dementia is a condition mostly associated with seniors or most importantly people who have passed the ages of 60. However, in the recent times, it has been recorded that people at the ages of 40 years and above could also start experiencing this condition. Being tied in our offices all day would suggest that we may not have time to step outside and start exercising. For this reason, the condition could as well be on the doorstep. Dementia is the loss of brain function which mostly occurs when triggered by other underlying diseases in the body. Although earlier diagnosis can help sustain an individual by taking the necessary precautions, simple things such as coffee and exercise are recorded as enough to restore balance and normality.

Exercise provision, when and why?

Some people will suggest that the exercises should be provided regularly in order to fight dementia but experts attest that only 30 minutes of exercise three times a week is enough. In other words, you only have to salvage about 90 minutes of your time which will be divided into three times to take place during the week. Whether the individual in focus remained tied into the results of age, as long as enough exercise was provided they would still remain steady in good health. Exercise for seniors in this study also proved that up to 40 to 60 percent of those inducted into the program were most likely to reduce cases of hearing conditions and stroke related cases.

Regular exercise and brain health

Generally, these results are tangible evidence that regular physical activity promotes brain health. Consumption of coffee three to five times a day also accorded that dementia could be warded off. The results were published by lead author Dr. David Elmenhorst. Literally, there is also supporting evidence that indicates caffeine is indeed a solution towards other diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s a among other brain related syndromes.

The attribution of caffeine in this study also supported the evidence of interaction of brain receptors where PET scans are used such that scientists are able to see the binding effect of caffeine with these receptors. The point is that these receptors actually work to improve the protective mechanism. According to statistical analysis, it is evident that up to 80 percent of US citizens drink coffee on a daily basis which means that the chances they have in fighting such conditions in the near future are great. When a senior relative goes awry and loses the will to remember and do things right, it not only becomes a burden to him but also to the entire family.
