  • Bleeding from the nose occurs when small blood vessels inside the nostrils are ruptured.

Causes of a nose bleed:
  • Sneezing/upper respiratory infection
  • Picking the nose
  • Blowing the nose
  • Hit to the nose
  • High blood pressure
