Adult CPR On COVID-19
- Cover the victim’s mouth and nose with a face mask or a cloth to prevent the spread to the bystander
- If the rescuer is a household member who has already been exposed to the victim at home can start chest compressions
- At present only chest compression CPR is recommended for Adult CPR outside the hospital.
If the victim is COVID-19 negative or not suspected, then standard CPR algorithm is recommended.
