Causes of stroke:

Blood clot to the brain
Ruptured blood vessel in the brain

Signs of stroke:

Problem speaking
Problem swallowing
Decrease or loss of strength or movement of the limbs
Tingling and numbness on one side of the body
Sudden, severe headaches
Sudden or gradual loss of consciousness
