CPR on COVID-19 Positive or Suspected Patients

Adult CPR On COVID-19

Cover the victim’s mouth and nose with a face mask or a cloth to prevent the spread to the bystander
If the rescuer is a household member who has already been exposed to the victim at home can start chest compressions
At present only chest compression CPR is recommended for Adult CPR outside the hospital.

If the victim is COVID-19 negative or not suspected, then standard CPR algorithm is recommended.
