The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a statement reporting that Kroger had voluntarily recalled approximately 140,000 zippered sweatshirts that had fleece lining and came in children\u2019s sizes because the shirts could pose a risk of choking to the wearer. The zippers on the shirts could become detached and create a choking hazard for the child wearing the sweatshirt.<\/p>\n
The shirts were sold at Kroger stores from June of 2014 until February of 2015. The recall was issued in February of 2015 by Kroger.<\/p>\n
The sweatshirts were sold in children\u2019s sizes that fit girls, boys, and infants. The sweatshirts had fleece lining, zippers, hoods, two front pockets, and ribbing around the wrists and the waist of the shirts.
\nThe shirts came in more than 60 different colors and patterns. The shirts were priced between eight and ten dollars. They fit children from infant sizes of 3 to 6 months to youth extra-large sizes.
\nThese sweatshirts were manufactured by Inter-American Products. Lahore, Pakistan. They have style numbers of 8025, 8025P, 8128, 8128P, 8174P, 8251, 8326, 8326P.
\nThe labels of the hooded sweatshirts show that they were made in March 2014, April 2014, June 2014, and November of 2014.
\nThe batch numbers on the labels of the hooded fleece lined sweatshirts are 1, FLC-P5, FLC-P6, and FLC-P8.

If you have one of the recalled sweatshirts, you should not allow your children to wear it again. You may return the shirt to the store that you purchased it from for a full refund if you still have the sales receipt from the purchase. If you do not still have the sales receipt, you will be given a refund of the current retail price of the hooded children\u2019s sweatshirts, or you could be given store credit for the amount of the current retail price of the garments.
