This can save the\nlife of a kid whose airway has been blocked either by food or any other object.\nKids tend to explore every new thing that they come across by putting it in\ntheir mouth. If it is a minor scrape, then clean the\nwound and apply a bandage. On the other hand, if the bleeding is serious, then\nyou must call for help immediately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you\nmust do everything you can to stop bleeding while you wait for help to arrive.\nElevate the bleeding site and remove any dirt from it. Take a clean cloth and\napply continuous pressure to the wound. Don\u2019t remove the bandage to check if\nthe bleeding has stopped. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t move the\ninjured part of the child\u2019s body even after the bleeding has stopped. While\nyou wait for help to arrive, run cold water on the burn for at least 20\nminutes. Remove all clothing from their body to reduce discomfort.
