Females, \u00a0People of Age, and Individuals with Small \u00a0Body Frames Are at a Higher Risk <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The above figures reveal\nfemales are at a higher risk and are likelier to suffer skeletal chest harm\nthan males.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More findings suggest\nthat people of age at prone to such injuries than younger ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some bone-weakening\nhealth conditions like osteoporosis may also increase the chance of injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Verdict<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fear of fracturing a\nperson’s ribs or causing harm shouldn’t stop you from administering CPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medics have solutions to broken ribs <\/a>during CPR, and Good Samaritan laws exist all\nover the US protect passersby who give CPR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will not face legal\ncharges if the patient is not happy with the way you administered CPR after you\nacted in good faith and was not compensated. The law also considers the fact\nthat you are\/were not a trained medic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Note<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anxiety surrounding\nthe situation and vigorous of executing CPR poses a high risk of injury to\ncardiac arrest victims. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
