However, it can also include flooded areas and river\nrescue, ice rescue, swimming pool rescue and various other&nbsp;incidences that\nrequire emergency medical services. Many <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onlinecprcertification.net\/\">activities for lifesaving<\/a> include\nspecialization in oceanic environments. This is called \u2018coastal lifesaving\u2019 or \u2018surf lifesaving.\u2019&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those people who actively participate in virus lifesaving\nactivities as volunteers are generally called \u2018lifesavers.\u2019 On the other hand,\nif you were to dedicate your life to lifesaving activities as a full-fledged\nprofession, then you will become an EMT (emergency medical technician). He should check the airways of the victim to see that there is\nno obstruction (only if the person is not capable of breathing on his own). He\nshould compress his chest multiple times and blow air into his lungs till the\nperson starts breathing again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>o&nbsp;&nbsp; Highly Trained Rescue Specialists<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this is only one aspect of life-saving activities\nthat may be performed by specialists skilled in the process. Firemen may charge\ninto burning buildings to rescue trapped people. Alternately, rescue workers\nmight try to extract people from unsafe structures during wartime or natural\ndisasters (such as earthquakes, tornadoes, and hurricanes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Such actions require a lot of courage and training as well\nas physical fitness before the individual is capable of performing such\ndifficult activities for lifesaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is an extensive trial and testing period designed to\ncull the best from the rest.&nbsp; Only the\nmost committed and physically fit individuals are selected for rigorous training,\nThis training will help ensure that their life-saving skills are honed to the\nhighest degree possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>o&nbsp;&nbsp; Well-trained Laymen<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>However, lifesaving activities are not the purview of highly\nskilled and trained professionals alone.
